To get off the train, they go back up to the boarding compartment, which is left behind at the next stop. This concept was created by Jianjun Chen in China.
I suspect that this would work, but either the train has to stay under 200 KmPH or the speed-up and slow-down distances need to be greater.
IOW, this would be great for shorter lines with lots of stops.
